2. You can use learning materials in English by utilizing the translation feature:

You can change the language of the Studeo platform on your Profile page. To access the Profile page, click the human shaped icon on the left-hand menu. The information on the Profile page can be edited by clicking the pencil icon. You can select Finnish, Swedish, or English as the platform language.

Learning materials can be used in another language by using the translation feature. The translation is powered by Google Translate, which means it may not necessarily correspond perfectly to the original text.

When you are viewing the study material, you’ll find a button on the left side of the upper bar, just above the chapter. It allows you to select one mode at a time: Read, Annotate or Reading tools. Select Reading tools to use the translator.

1. First, click the button in the upper bar to turn on the Reading tools mode.

2. Next, highlight the word or text you want to translate. A pop-up menu will appear with the option Translate.

3. Click Translate and select the language you want the text to be translated into.

4. The translated text will open in a separate window, where you can, among other things, adjust the text size and listen to the translated text if audio is available for the learning material.

NOTE! The user's browser may have a built-in or add-on-based automatic translator. Using it is not recommended under normal circumstances on the Studeo platform, as it may malfunction or work incorrectly. If the automatic translator is enabled in your browser, we recommend turning it off.
